The Mono
Contemporary Mono-Pitch Car GarageA bold, modern garage designed around cherished cars. The Mono combines a distinctive sloping roofline, generous internal space and wide garage openings with a clean architectural finish.
A Garage That Looks as Considered as the Cars Inside It.
The Mono is our most contemporary starting point for a bespoke car garage. Its simple mono-pitch roof creates a distinctive architectural profile while allowing the building to remain practical, robust and highly adaptable.
It can be developed as a compact garage for one cherished car, a generous two-car space, or a significantly larger building for collectors who want room for vehicles, storage, detailing equipment and workshop facilities.
Exterior cladding, doors, glazing and interior finishes can all be selected to complement the property rather than making the garage look like an off-the-shelf industrial building.
Who Is The Mono For?
This design works particularly well where a clean modern appearance and flexible internal space are priorities.
Classic Car Owners
Create a dry, insulated and secure home for one or more cherished classic vehicles.
Performance Cars
A contemporary building particularly well suited to modern sports, prestige and performance vehicles.
Car Collections
Wide-span layouts can provide generous space for multiple vehicles and room to move around them comfortably.
Garage Workshops
Add cabinets, benches, vehicle lifts, detailing equipment and practical storage without losing the premium appearance.
Strong Lines. Wide Openings. Serious Space.
The defining feature of The Mono is its single-direction roofline. Used well, this gives the building a much more architectural feel than a conventional domestic garage.
Steel-frame construction allows the internal layout and garage openings to be developed around the vehicles rather than being restricted by standard sectional building dimensions.
Build the Garage Around the Collection.
There is no single fixed size for The Mono. Dimensions should take account of vehicle width, door opening space, circulation, storage and how the garage may be used in the future.
A customer who simply wants secure storage for two cars will require something very different from an owner wanting three vehicles, a work bench, detailing area and vehicle lift.
Read the Garage Size Guide →Final dimensions, structural design and suitability are determined individually for each project and site.
What Can Be Built Into The Mono?
Keep the garage beautifully simple or build a complete environment around the cars.
Insulation
Insulated wall and roof systems can improve comfort and help create a more stable environment for stored vehicles.
Climate Control
Ventilation, heating and dehumidification options can be considered for valuable or long-term stored cars.
Security
Secure doors, controlled access and provision for alarms and CCTV can be incorporated into the specification.
Premium Flooring
Resin, tiled and specialist garage flooring options can create a clean and durable finished interior.
Workshop & Storage
Cabinets, work benches, tool storage and detailing areas can be designed into the available space.
Car Lift Provision
Where appropriate, the structure and layout can be considered around future or immediate vehicle-lift requirements.
Insulation & Climate Control
For classic and collector vehicles, the internal environment can matter almost as much as physical security. Explore insulation, ventilation and climate-control considerations.
Insulated Car Garages →Workshops, Lifts & Interiors

Workshops & Car Lifts →How Much Does The Mono Cost?
Every Mono is individually specified, so the final cost will depend on the size of the building, ground conditions, structural requirements, doors, cladding, insulation and interior fit-out.
The aim is not to compete with low-cost sectional garages. The Mono is intended as a complete bespoke garage project with the design, build quality and finish appropriate for cherished vehicles.
